All incoming students at Hutch Tech this September are required to read all these books for their English classes. The novels should be read prior to the start of classes.

Hutch Tech Summer Reading Challenge! 

This summer, we invite you all to READ!  

Please check your Class of ‘25, ‘26, and ‘27 Schoology Groups for more information and resources to help you find the books you love and for templates to use to share what you have read with others. 

The Challenge: 

• Sign-up for Digital access to The New York Public Library (NYPL) to read books you love! https://nypl.org/library-card/new 

• Check out NYPL’s Book Recommendations for Teens 

• Use one of the templates provided in Schoology to keep a log of your reading. 

• Read as many books as you can and be prepared to share your reading log with our Hutch Tech Librarian, Ms. Ojumu. 

• Prizes will be given to the top readers, and a celebration of everyone’s reading achievements will take place in September!
