homework.
3.There is NO MAKE UPS for a QUIZ, if you are absent,
you will receive a zero.
4. If you are absent the day of a test you will receive a
zero for that assessment, unless you report to
room 341 the morning you return to school with a note
explaining your absence (Your note for your homeroom teacher
is ok).
No note, no make up test, no exceptions.
You must make up the test within three days of the original
test date.
5. A student’s grade will be determined by dividing the total
points earned in quarter by the total points available:
Example:
----------------POINTS EARNED------POINTS AVAILABLE
HOMEWORK--------------300-------------------400
CLASS WORK-------------70-------------------100
PROJECTS -----------------80-------------------100
ASSESSMENTS----------300------------------400
TOTALS---------------------750----------------1000
750/1000 = 75%
Homework Policy
No late homework will be accepted
Students should bring their homework to class the day it is due.
If a student is absent, the assignment is due the day they return.
Also, students are responsible to check with me to find out what they missed when they were absent. Please call guidance to get work if you are going to be out an extended time due to illness.
Vocabulary assignments are a very important part of your grade, make sure they are in on time.
You are also expected to keep a learning journal for this class. You are expected to make up any journal entries that you miss due to absence. They will be checked on a weekly basis.
You will find journal questions, vocabulary lists and notes on my BPS web page.
